Q: Do you have a CRB check
A:
Yes, Several for different areas of the UK, varying from 6-18months old. Reference number is available, and can be viewed on request (but not copied)
Q: Do you have Public Liability Insurance?
A:
II hold a £5m Public Liability insurance with AN Magazine - AIR Program. A copy of the certificate and membership is available on request and further details can be found at
www.a-n.co.uk
Q: How much will a single day cost?
A:
Projects vary on an individual basis. Generally prices range between £25-£55 an hour depending on the nature of the work to be completed.
Q: What if there is no funding available to run the project?
A:
There are various ways of raising funds for projects, and individuals that can give advice on sourcing and applying for funding. Please ask for further details or you can see the funding links on the
LINKS
page.
Q: How long will it take to develop a program of work?
A:
All projects vary but generally a brief outline through email, and a face to face meeting will generate a logistical and financial outline to persue.
Q: Where can i get further information on initiating a project with an artist?
A:
A further reading list can be found on the links website detailing some sound advice for engaging artists in projects.
Q: How much will materials cost?
A:
Most materials are sourced in bulk for projects, keeping prices down. Also sourcing recylced and scrap materials from local organisations and businesses. Material costs can vary but a good estimate can be given when initiating a project.
Q: What times will the workshop day run to?
A:
sessions within the school day will work to not disrupt the structure of the day.
Public arts days will generally
start around 9-9.30 arrival and set up
10am - 12pm - session 1
12-1pm - Lunch
1pm - 3pm session 2
3.30-4pm Clear down

Q: How many participants can take part?
A:
Only 8 students per adult is suitable. But this varies due to the nature and materials used in a workshop. Also working within the school setting this may vary.
